The contract residential program provides services in a community residential setting, ongoing evaluation, planning, up to 24-hour supervision, coordination, and integration of wellness and health services assist each individual to function at his greatest ability.Program provides assistance with acquisition, retention, or improvement in skills related to activities of daily living, such as personal grooming and cleanliness, bed making and household chores, eating and the preparation of food, and the social and adaptive skills necessary to enable the individual to reside in the community. Services include management, client protections, facility staffing, active treatment, client behavior monitoring and assistance accessing healthcare services. Continuous efforts toward community integration that make arrangements to enable individuals to live, work, learn and play side by side in the community with people who do not have disabilities.
Staffing
Contract homes have trained staff to provide the proper amount of care for the proper length of time based on the needs. Direct care staff must be on duty and awake round-the-clock to take appropriate action in case of emergency. Direct care staffing requirements are based on client need.
